We require a $500 deposit to join the waiting list or a $500 PET Deposit to reserve a specific kitten. If purchasing a kitten with breeding rights, a $1,000 deposit is required. This deposit will be applied toward the final purchase price of the kitten. Deposits must be received within 24 hours of a Purchaser’s verbal acceptance of a cat/kitten. Once a deposit is received, that kitten will be reserved exclusively and not offered to anyone else.
If the kitten is located in our cattery, a $500 deposit is required; if located at my partner’s location, a 50% deposit is necessary. Kittens are generally ready to go to their new homes after they reach 14 weeks of age, though they may stay longer if they require special care or if there are delays in scheduling their spay/neuter surgery due to vet availability. We prioritize each kitten’s health, ensuring they are fully prepared before joining their new families.
The remaining balance is due when the kitten is released to the Purchaser. Please note that the PET Deposit is non-refundable, though it can be transferred to another litter or kitten if needed. However, if the Purchaser changes their mind after the reserved kitten reaches two months old, the deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable. The deposit is intended to secure the Purchaser’s commitment, as the kitten is held exclusively for them and will not be sold to anyone else. If the Purchaser is on the waiting list but does not find a suitable kitten within 12 months and no longer wishes to remain on the list, half of the deposit ($250) will be refunded.
Please note: Half of the deposit ($250) is refundable only for customers on the waiting list. Once a specific kitten is reserved, the deposit is non-refundable in all cases.
In the rare and unfortunate event that a reserved kitten passes away, the deposit is non-refundable. We take great pride in the health and well-being of our kittens, and while we do everything we can to ensure their safety, such situations are beyond our control. This rarely happens in our cattery, but it is important to acknowledge that it can occur. If this happens, the deposit will remain valid and can be applied toward the purchase of another kitten from us, as long as we are still in business.
All kittens must be paid for in full upon the release date, and you must notify the breeder before placing a deposit if the kitten will be picked up later than the agreed-upon time. Kittens must be picked up or shipped as agreed upon with the client. We will hold the kitten for up to 2 weeks, and if it is not picked up by then, the kitten will be resold without any refund. If a kitten remains at the cattery beyond the agreed pickup date without prior notice, a boarding fee of $45 per day will apply. We understand that circumstances may arise, but this policy helps ensure each kitten’s transition to a loving home as planned.
Kittens from my cattery or from my partner's house should be picked up from my cattery, unless the kitten needs to be delivered to our local airport or to a different state. If the kitten needs to be delivered, payment must be completed in full, including the delivery charge, at least 2 weeks before the delivery date.
Finalizing the Deposit:
Older kittens can become more challenging to place, so we encourage prompt pickup as soon as they are ready. By placing a deposit, you agree to these terms.
